Given my tendency to overshare in person and through The Budget Brigade, it may surprise you to find out that I’m usually very introverted with social anxiety. Yet I knew if I wanted to share the message of budgeting and finding your version of financial freedom, I had to get out and talk about it. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I reached out to The Frugal Physician about her Finding Financial Freedom podcast.
Dr. Disha Spath was a wonderful host. I’m so grateful to her for hosting my first podcast appearance in March of 2024. I had a blast discussing my personal finance journey with her.
On this episode, we discussed topics including:
- My journey managing finances
- The challenges of budgeting on a variable income
- The emotional side of money
- Being frugal (it’s not an f*** word!) and the importance of intentional spending
- How to enjoy life without overspending
